Meet The Team

Anna
I’m Anna and since I was a little girl I dreamt of opening my own yard. By day, I'm actually a criminal lawyer but I have ridden since I was 7 years old and have owned my own horses since I was 16. I have kept my horses on several wonderful yards over the years, many of which I think of very fondly, and I have always dreamt of opening my own and combining the best parts of each. In 2012 I moved from St Ives to Ely to be with my now husband, and 2021 I was lucky enough for my dreams to come true and I opened Oak Farm. I set Oak Farm up to be the anti-livery yard. I wanted to create a safe, nurturing, relaxed environment where horses and riders would thrive without judgement or the typical livery yard politics. I myself compete regularly at affiliated dressage and now have several young horses waiting in the wings to produce. I have also recently started breeding Hanoverians as young horses are my absolute passion, and we have had a successful start to our breeding program!

Chloe E
I am an apprentice at Oak Farm and I started in August 2024.
I started riding when I was young, both my mum and my nan where huge horsey influences in my life, and I have been lucky enough to have owned my own horse.
When not at work I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and walking my Husky Koda.

Abbie
Hi, I'm Abbie I started riding at 5 years old. My first job was at a riding school where my passion for equine grew. I went to college and achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Equine Management. I then expanded my qualifications by completing BHS Stage 1 and currently finishing Stage 2.

Chloe M
Hi! I’m Chloe, I first started out at a riding school mucking out and learning the ropes at the age of 11/12 About a year or two later I met Anna who found me a Saturday job working at a dressage stud where I later did my apprenticeship where I gained an enormous amount of experience with a variety of horses my absolute favourite being the foals I then have had a gap in my life where I thought an office job would be better! Oh how I was wrong! Soon after Oak farm opened I became pregnant and had my little boy, and I am currently off work for a while to have my second child.
